Jérémie Paul

“I make forms vibrate, ring, and dance to create a landscape, comprising a repertoire that is enriched from one experience to the next. Born in the French West Indies of Guadeloupe, I studied at Villa Arson, École Nationale Supérieur d’Art de Nice. My work is a stroll between painting and installation, it’s a stroll between lexical and melodic form. I try to justify the existence of a vocabulary, a lexicon, or objects by organising them in a rhythmic, melodic and sensitive way. I construct poetry. Poetry that is like a landscape in which dreamlike elements are produced through various mediums, by displaying heterogeneous elements that coexist.”
